1.What is the status of ethyl carbamate regulations in the USA, Canada and world-wide?
TBD

2.Can't I just remove ethyl carbamate if it should form during winemaking?
Can't I just remove ethyl carbamate if it should form during winemaking?

3.What strains do you produce?
Currently we have 5 strains available.

4.Will you be adding more strains soon?
Yes. Over time we will carry every strain commercially available.

5.Why should I change from my current yeast strain to the Phyterra strain?

Phyterra strains are essentially the same your current strains, except they produce less of the ethyl carbamate carcinogen.  For example, our Phy-02 strain is based on Prise de Mousse, with all the positive attributes you require, but less of the toxic contaminants.

6.Compared to their parent strains, will Phyterra yeasts affect the aroma and taste of my wine?
No. We have done sensory evaluations and found no significant differences in identical musts fermented with Phyterra and the parent strains from which they were selected.

7.Will I need to make changes to my current production process?
No changes are required.

8.Are your strains equivalent to the strains that I'm currently using?
